This type is custom manufactured with excellent high temperature properties with good weld-ability and ductility with the potent efficiency.

This type is custom manufactured with an austenitic 18/8 steel, which is stabilized by niobium and tantalum. These elements slightly improve in corrosion resistance in few environments.

• This type is second most widely available of stainless steels in the wire mesh industry.
• T – 316 have a good oxidation resistance to temperature of 925°C in continuous heating.
• T – 316 have a high resistance to corrosion in warm chloride environment (i.e. by salts, acids and seawater).
• It is virtually non magnetic in the annealed condition.
• This type is typically preferred as an alternative to T – 304 stainless steel wire mesh and considered in certain circs.
• Applications for which T – 316 wire mesh are used in pharmaceuticals, aerospace, chemical processing, marine equipments, rubber & plastic industry, other general industrial use.

This type is very similar to T-304, the difference being the reduced carbon content which often helps for better weave and secondary welding characteristics.

This type is custom manufactured with an austenitic 18/8 steel, which is stabilized by titanium and offers similar resistance to general corrosion as SS T-304.
