• High carbon steel wire mesh is also known as spring steel wire mesh which offers increased strength and abrasion resistance, usually this is selected for aggregate sizing and sifting applications.

• This mesh has a chemical composition of approximately 65% Copper with 35% Zinc which is referred to 65 BRASS, in another composition of 70% Copper with 30% Zinc which is referred to 70 BRASS.
• Applications for which Brass wire mesh are used in cabinet screens, aerospace, metal castings, plumbing screens, marine use, decorative lamp shades, gutter guards and other general industrial use.

1. DUPLEX WEAVE TYPE BELT: This belt has a woven of pairs of spirals, each pair are turned into the preceding pair, and reinforced with a rod through the hinging point. These belts are made of single directional spirals. Due to its close mesh and smooth carrying surface, the duplex belt is most efficient for carrying the small parts such as needle roller bearings and other products that would be marked by a more open mesh fabric. The design of this belt gives it low heat inertia, high strength and a good air circulation through the belt. This woven and stratified belt gives a super position of the wires and an open mesh. The edges are looped.

This mesh is made by knitting machine which is similar to jumpers and scarves machine. The final knitted mesh is in the structure of inter connecting loops, similar to a long knit sock. UWP manufactures both mono-filament wires and multi filament wires whereas in mono- filament knitted wire mesh has a simple structure which is economically used in most common applications and the multi-filament knitted wire has a higher strength than the mono-filament knitted wire mesh.

• Low carbon steel wire mesh is also known as mild steel wire mesh which has a relatively low tensile strength, but it is cheap and easy to form.
• This mesh has limited application due to its weakness in less resistance to abrasion, chemical attack.
